What Are Monoterpenes, and How Can They Help Your Mind & Body!- Golden Drop

What is Monoterpenes, really?

If you are someone who likes to get the simplistic version of understanding the ‘chemistry and the life force' within essential oils, then let’s dig in, and get to the nitty-gritty; like having an essential oil that can help to pull toxins out of the body, the monoterpene compounds can do just that, pull toxins and more.

We also go in-depth about how Bergamot can help with calming energies, digestive issues, dry/itchy/flakey skin, and stress or trauma so hit that play button and learn some valuable information that can not only help you but maybe someone you know.

Essential oils with monoterpene compounds in them

Here is a list of some essential oils with the monoterpene compound:

  • Bergamot

  • Carrot seed oil; which is great for skin, let us know if you would like a ‘Tips & Trick’ DIY tutorial on that?

  • Fennel

  • Lemon

  • Neroli

  • Orange and a few other citrus oils

Caring for your health is one step, but really 'knowing and understanding' the products that you are using, can not only help you to choose the right oils for the right applications but also to help us make the safest recommendations when sharing our essential oils stories. Bergamot is highly photosensitive, citrus oil - it is from a lemon peel by cold-pressed or distillation method, so it would only make sense to be 'sun safe' and apply this oil where the sun doesn’t shine, skin lovers.
Having this kind of knowledge when sharing our stories with others is a great way of paying it forward.

If you have an experience that you would like to share, and or you would like to share with us how you like to pay it to forward, let us know in the comments below, we would love to hear from you!
