Healthy Homemade Apple Chips

Ingredients:

  • 1-2 Apples of your choice
  • 2-4 cups of water (enough to cover your apples when sliced)
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 Tablespoon of sugar/monk fruit/favorite sweetener (or omit)
  • 7-8 drops of cinnamon essential oil
  • 4 drops lemon essential oil.

Directions:

Choose your favorite apples. You can either peel them or keep the peels on, it's truly a personal preference. Make sure you core your apples and slice very thin.

Place all slices in a container of cold water with a pinch of cinnamon, a tablespoon of sugar or monk fruit, 7-8 drops of cinnamon essential oil, and 4 drops lemon essential oil.

Slightly mix your apples in the water mixture and make sure they're all evenly coated. Let sit for about 5 minutes and then lay on parchment paper.

Place into an oven pre-heated to 225 degrees, bake for about 20 minutes, flip over the slices and bake for another 20 minutes or until the edges curl.

A simple harvest treat to sweeten your season!
